Mrs. W. N. Ferrie died very suddenly on Sunday morning at her home on east Railroad street. We are without the particulars for a more extended notice.

OBITUARY.
FERRIE.
Mrs. Matilda Ferrie, wife of Wm. N. Ferric, died at her home in Cresco, Sunday, Sept. 13th, as the result of heart failure.
Mrs. Ferrie, whose maiden name was Weaklen, was born in Howard County, Iowa, March 8, l869, and was married to William N. Ferrie on Oct. 25, 1898, when they moved to Elma where they resided for four years. In 1903 they came to Cresco where she resided up to the time of her death. One child, a son, was born to them, but died in infancy.
The deceased is survived by her husband, father, one sister and three brothers.
The funeral was held Tuesday, Sept. 15th, at St. Joseph’s church in Cresco, and the remains laid at rest in St Joseph’s Cemetery.
