Three funerals in one church at the same time is a coincidence that rarely occurs, especially in country parishes. Funeral services were held in the Church of the Immaculate Conception church in Elma Friday morning over the remains of Mrs. Thos. Sullivan Sr., Mrs. Mary Ann Madden and Mrs. John Mulick. Two extra hearses were required. One was brought from Alta Vista and one from Riceville.—Elma New Era.

Transcriber’s Note: Calvary Elma Cemetery records show she is buried there and was born August 15, 1834 and died July 29, 1908.
