KEEFE.
Abe Keefe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Keefe, of Elma, was born in Howard county, April 10, 1881. He grew to manhood in the vicinity of Elma, graduating from the Elma High School. He took up the study of pharmacy and at the completion of a college course, worked in a Riceville drug store for one year. Later he went to Colfax and Eddysville, Iowa, finally purchasing an interest in a drug store at which he managed up to the time of his death which occurred on Wednesday, July 15th.
The deceased was married on June 8, 1904, to Miss Bernice Judd, of Davis City, Iowa. The funeral was held at Elma the Saturday following his death conducted by Rev. F. J. Gunn, assisted by Rev. Tibeau.
