Boy Drowned.
Yesterday morning the children of Aug. DeGroote, who lives on the Dr. Connolly farm northwest of Cresco, started for school, and one of them, a seven year old boy, went through the fields, the others going around by the road. The boy not arriving at school, the teacher instituted a search and the boy was found drowned in one of the holes in a slough, having broken through the ice over the hole. Dr. Plummer was called but the boy was beyond resuscitation.
