DIED--MOON--In Cresco, Sept. 18, 1876, Maud E., daughter of M. M. and Bettie J. Moon, aged 13 months and 24 days.

MAUDIE

We miss the flower like face,
The dainty baby grace,
The sweet and winsome ways.

The task of love is done,
The little race is run,
The crown of life is won.

Shut from our loving eyes
The earthly casket lies,
The sinless spirit lives beyond the skies.

From death and dark decay,
From sorrow and dismay,
Into eternal day.
