OBITUARY.
Garrett William Nagle was born at Dinxperlo, Holland, Oct. 29, 1844, and died at his home at Cherry Grove, June 5, 1907. Mr. Nagle came with his parents from Holland at the age of nine years and settled at Alto, Wis., where they resided for twelve years, then they removed to Carimona township, Minn., where he resided until his marriage to Elizabeth Boland, which occurred April 6, 1876, when they moved to York township, Minn., where he has resided ever since, except about two years which time he and his family re-sided in this city. Ten children were born to this union, eight of whom are still living and are all settled near him. Mr. Nagle had always been a very strong, active man until about one year ago his team ran away and he was seriously injured, which finally resulted in his death, the injury causing cancer of the stomach which caused his death. He was confined to his bed for seven weeks and was a great sufferer until God relieved him of all pain. Mr. Nagle was a member of the Presbyterian church of this city, joining with his wife about four years ago. Mr. Nagle was one of a large family. Four brothers, one sister, eight children and wife still live to mourn his untimely death.
