Mrs. James McGregor passed away Monday, at 4 o’clock a. m., after a short Illness. The funeral was held in the Presbyterian church Wednesday Cat 2:30 o’clock; Rev. Winegar officiating. She was laid to rest in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Fowler, niece of Mrs. McGregor, arrived from Milwaukee, Wis., Monday morning, to attend the funeral of her aunt.

OBITUARY:--Rebecca Rose McGregor was born in Russ Shire, Scotland, May 16, 1812; May 5, 1840, she left Scotland and went to Picton, Nova Scotia. In 1842, she moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia, and in 1845 moved to the city of Boston. In 1856 she moved to Milwaukee, Wis., and on October 20th of this same year she was married with James McGregor, also of Russ Shire, Scotland. In the year 1857, they moved to Lime Springs, Ia., where they have lived ever since. In 1867, Mr. and Mrs. McGregor united with the Presbyterian church of this city. Rebecca McGregor died Monday morning, March 25, 1907, at the age of 95 years 10 months and 24 days. She leaves her aged husband and several nephews and nieces to mourn her loss. She was one of a family of 10 children, and was the last to be called from this earthly home. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Presbyterian church, Rev. Winegar officiating, v/here a large concourse of sorrowing friends had gathered to pay their last respects to this aged woman. Interment was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
