M. J. Hughes Dies Suddenly.
Thursday morning, M. J. Hughes, drove over to Granger early in morning to buy poultry and ate breakfast at the Martin House. After breakfast he went out on the porch and sat down in a chair and a few minutes later was seen to fall from it, having been seized with a stroke of paralysis. He was brought to Cresco the same day and taken to his room in Mrs. Mason’s residence, but never regained consciousness, passing awav at about eight o’clock this morning. The funeral will be hold Sunday morning.
He leaves two brothers and two sisters.

Raymond Hughes came down from St. Paul, Minn., last Friday to be present at the funeral of his uncle, Michael Hughes. He returns to St. Paul today
