Mrs. Catherine O'Reilly passed away Wednesday morning, and her funeral was held yesterday afternoon. All her children were with her with the exception of one. We will publish an obituary later.

Miss Catherine O. Mahoney was born in County Waterford, Ireland, May 3, 1839, and died in Cresco, Iowa, May 23, 1906, aged 67 years and 20 days.
After coming to America she was married to Henry O. Reilly in New York City on May 12, 1860, and coming West shortly after their marriage they settled in Cresco, and deceased has been a resident of this place for nearly 40 years.
Nine children were born to this union, three of whom have preceded their mother in death. The remaining children, who, with their aged father, are left to mourn the loss of a devoted mother and life’s companion are as follows: David Reilly, of Chicago; Mrs. J. C. Harris, of Waterloo, Iowa; Mrs. Jas. Fox, of Spaulding, Neb.; Mrs. P. J. Leirick, of Prescott, Wis.; Mrs. C. A. Johnson, of St. Paul, Minn., and Thos. Reilly of Omaha, Neb. All of the children with their families, with the exception of one, were present at the time of her death.
The funeral was held last Thursday from the Catholic church, Rev. M. A. McCarthy officiating. Interment was in St. Joseph’s cemetery.
