The aged mother of Geo. and Jerry Clark passed away Friday night after an illness of only a couple of days. The funeral was held yesterday morning. We will give an obituary in our next issue.

CLARK:
Mrs. Anna Clark was born in County Galloway, Ireland, in 1825, and died at her home In Cresco, May 27, 1905, aged 80 years. In 1841, she came to Montreal, Canada, where in 1843 she married Wm. Clark, who died about 31 years ago. In 1843 they removed to Ogdensburg, N. Y., where most of their children were born. They came to Iowa in 1866 and to Cresco in 1871. Three daughters and three sons live to mourn the death of a loving mother, whose declining years were made pleasant and comfortable by the loving care and companionship of her loving sons and daughters.
The funeral was held Monday, May 29th, from the Church of the Assumption, with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
