Rather Careless.
Freddie Moen, the 8-year-old son of Mrs. Jennie Moen, employed as a domestic at 1370 Spruce place, died at the city hospital yesterday afternoon from diphtheria.
We clip this item from the Minneapolis Times of the 14th inst. The body was sent to Cresco where the mother of the dead boy resides. There was no public funeral, but there was the usual crowd of spectators and sight seers at the station. It is to be hoped that no serious results may come from the indiscretion of sending the body as it could not be even opened or looked upon by its mother and friends.
