Died-
Miss Maude Simerson pased{sic} away Monday evening, Sept. 30, 1901, at the home of her parents on south Elm St, after a long and painful illness from inflamatory rheumatism and heart trouble, dating from June 8th. The deceased was born at Anoka, Minn., in 1884. The funeral will be held on Thursday afternoon from the house, where the mother lies in a precarious condition, having been ill for several months. A son has also been ill all summer, and the household truly need the sympathy and assistance of all.

Transcriber’s Note: She is buried in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Her gravestone shows her name as Maud and she was born April 25, 1884.
