George Eggerts of Albion, committed suicide Saturday night by drowning in the Iowa river near his home, his funeral occurring Monday, Rev. C. Neidemier officiating, the local pastor refusing to bury one who had committed suicide. Mr. Eggerts was a confirmed invalid from Asthma, which had undoubtedly dethroned reason to the extent that death had no terror equal to the suffering in life.
