Passed Away.
John Watson, father of the County Recorder, died at the home of his son in this city, Sunday, June 2nd, and his funeral was held in Saratoga, June 3rd, the internment being in the cemetery at that place. Mr. Watson was among the early settlers in Saratoga, and was one of its most respected citizens. He was born in 1821, hence was not far from 80 years of age.
