DIED-In this city at the house of J. DeNoyelles, on the morning of July 8th, 1875, of congestion of the brain, A. G. Forshee, aged 25 years, 1 month, and 19 days.

"Abe," as we all usually and familiarly called him, was born May 19, 1850, in Steuben county N. Y. When quite young, his father died and left him to the care of a kind mother who survives her only son. Since he was 4 years old he has been troubled with a difficulty in his head. By advice of physicians some years since, he was obliged to leave his studies unfinished at the People's College in Havannah, and visit Iowa and Minnisota for his health. Nearly or quite recovering, he settled down among friends in Howard county, where he has since lived and been universally respected by all who knew him.

He was generous in his nature, affable, a pet among his companions, and social with all, but intimate with few. Since his residence in Cresco his home has been most of the time with Mr. and Mrs. DeNoyelles, where all the comforts of a home have been his to enjoy. During his painful illness, everything was done by them and his friends that could be, to save him from this untimely death. The noise of the cannon at the celebration on the 3d, appeared to make him delirious, from which he never rallied.

The funeral services were held at the Episcopal church, on Sunday morning last, where a large concourse of people assembled to pay their last respects to the departed.

When Mr. Forshee was taken sick he was in the employ of Messrs. Covery & DeNoyelles as foreman and accountant in their office.

The mother did not arrive in time to see him alive. She has the sympathy of his many friends in this sad bereavement.

"Do not mourn; he has only gone before. We are promised, that when we shall have done with the things of earth, we shall meet our loved ones in that bright realm above where the rainbow never fades."
