Albert Bean, who has been so ill at his home north of town, died on Wednesday morning. Mr. Bean has been ill with some heart trouble for the past few months, and all that loving hands and the best medical skill could do was done, but he seemed to fail gradually until death came to his release Wednesday. He was a good man and a loving husband and father; a man who loved his home the best of any spot on earth. He leaves a wife and one son, Burt Bean of Chicago, who was with him during his last illness. The funeral was held at the home on Friday at half-past ten, Rev. Heald conducting the service. The interment was in Oak Lawn cemetery at Cresco by the side of his daughter Alice, who died a number of years ago.
Transcriber’s Note: Oak Lawn Cemetery shows he was born in 1828.
