A SUDDEN SUMMONS.
Patrick Quinn Expires From Heart Disease While at Work.
The people of Cresco were inexpressibly shocked yesterday afternoon to hear that Patrick Quinn had passed away without a moments’ warning while at work on the Edwin Church farm just south of town.
He had been at work with his son and some others laying stone, and was talking to some one who had stopped in, when he suddenly fell forward, hammer in hand, and died almost instantly without uttering a word or making a struggle of any kind.
While Mr. Quinn has always been able to follow his trade and was seemingly in good health, still we understand his heart had been affected considerably during the past few years.Source: Twice-A-Week Plain Dealer Aug. 16, 1904, FP, C6
