We are informed that Luther Cook, living north-west of Bonair is in a critical condition from some intestinal trouble caused by a severe kick from a cow a few days ago.

Luther Cook, of Bonair, died last Thursday from the injuries of which we made brief mention in our last issue, and was buried on Saturday.

Killed by the Kick of a Cow.
Rev. Luther M. Cook, a retired clergyman of the Free Methodist faith, living near Lime Springs was kicked by a vicious cow last week and received such injuries that he died and was buried last Saturday.Transcriber's Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery and was born in 1849.
