Mrs. Charles Putnam died last Saturday at her home on the South side. We are without particulars.

OBITUARY,
Clarinda DeGroff was born in Maringo, Ill., July 21, 1864. In 1874 she moved to Cresco with her parents. On the 14th of October, 1880, she was united in marriage to Chas. H. Putnam. Excepting about nine years which were spent in Cedar Rapids her home has since been in Cresco.
She united with the M. E. church about nine years ago, during the pasturate of Rev. W, C. Macurdy. Having been in failing health for about a year, she died Saturday, p. m., June 25, 1904. She leaves a husband, one daughter, Genevieve, a sister, Mrs. Cora Crouse of Beloit, Wis., a brother, Harrison DeGroff of Riceville, and her mother Mrs. Olive Daughenbaugh, to mourn her loss, Funeral services were held in the M. E. church Tuesday afternoon, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Gammons. Burial was in New Oregon cemetery.
