CULVER
On last Sunday at 3:15 p. m.. Burr Culver, aged seventy-three years and one day, of cancer of the liver. The funeral was held from the M. E. church in this city on Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. Jos. W. Gordon preaching the funeral sermon. Interment at Dallas Park cemetery. The funeral cortege was the largest that ever followed a citizen of this county to his last resting place. Mr. Culver was an old time resident, having resided in this city and vicinity for more than a quarter of a century, was highly esteemed and counted the entire community among his friends. Some years since he was assessor of this county. He leaves his widow, two sons and three daughters to mourn his death. Mr. Culver was a hale and hearty man, who retained his vigor, notwithstanding his age until his last illness.-Ridgeway, Colorado, Populist, Jan. 22, 1904.
