“The good people of Forreston are sorely afflicted with measles and whooping cough just at this time, being in many instances fatal. S. L. Carey’s family lost their little boy, a noble, promising little fellow.”

Transcriber’s Note: Foreston Cemetery records indicates this was Jamie and is buried there. He was 1 year and 3 months old
