P. S. Howe, youngest son of P. C. Howe, died Tuesday evening at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. C. Howe, in Cresco, from a complication of ailments, being ill only a few days, though never in good health. The funeral will take place at the Methodist church at 10 o’clock this morning. We are at present without particulars for an extended obituary.

Obituary.
Philip S. Howe was born August 3, 1871, in Foreston, Howard county, Iowa, and always resided in the county. He was married to Mary E. Gifford January 7, 1899, who, with two brothers and one sister, father and mother survive him. His home was in Vernon Springs but he died at the residence of his father and Mother, Mr. and Mrs. P. C. Howe, Cresco, December 16, 1902, aged 31 years, 4 months and 13 days.
