Obituary-
WILLIAM J. WELCH.
William J. Welch, died at his home in Cresco of Brights disease, Sunday morning, November 23, 1902, aged 41 9 months and 24 days.
Deceased was born in New Oregon township, January 29, 1861, and passed all his years in Howard county. He was married July 7, 1897, and leaves a widow and three children. For twenty years be had been the faithful and efficient employe of Hon. D. A. Lyons in charge of his large implement trade, and a more competent and faithful man to the interests of his employer could not be found.
His funeral will be from the house at 9 o’clock this Tuesday morning to the Catholic church, thence to St. Joseph’s cemetery.
There came to pay tbeir last sad duty to a loved one, his brother Daniel E. Welch and wife of Minneapolis, Mrs. John Rastratcr, Staples, Minn., Edward E. Welch, Des Moines, John H. Welch and wife, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, John H. Hanegan, Glenwood, Wis., Frank P. Murtha, Gettysburg, S. D., David O’Donnell, Hersey, Wis., John B. Rastrater, Calmar, Iowa.
In this sorrowful dispensation the family and friends have the sympathy of our people of all classes and conditions.
