Mr. Michael Ryan dropped into Cresco Thursday evening for a few days with Cresco friends. He had been called to Wyckoff inconsequence of the death of his sister Mrs. Maggie Ploof, who died last Monday at the age of 69, of paralysis. She was the oldest child of Wm. Ryan, a former resident of New Oregon. Four brothers and two sisters remain of the family, two brothers in Colorado, one in South Dakota, one in Calmar, and two sisters, one in Chicago and one in Cresco.
