Sudden Death-
The wife of Geo. Bly who has been somewhat indisposed for a few days, died very unexpectedly Thursday forenoon, January 30. We are without further particulars. Obituary later.

Obituary.
Susan Jane Lucas was born in Tippaconoe county, Indiana, July 6th 1858. In the autum{sic} of 1865, she moved with her parents to Muscatine, Iowa. In 1872 the family moved to Cresco. Here she was united in marriage to George M. Bly, on the 16th of November, 1881. She died suddenly at 11 o’clock on the morning of January 30, 1902. Five children, parents, and the broken-hearted husband survivbe her.
She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. She was a faithful wife, a devoted mother and kind neighbor. The funeral was conducted by her pastor, Saturday at 2 p. m., and was attended by a large concourse of people.

Transcriber's Note: The cemetery records indicate she was born in 1859. Also the gravestone shows her first name as Susannah.
