In this issue is given an account of the part taken in the battle of Pea Ridge by Cos. I and H.. hailing from this section of the state from which we condense the following: "The boys of Co. I. as they desired were permitted to go into action under Lieut. Fellows. * * * Co. I had 2 killed and 20 wounded, as follows: Killed- Privates, John Gordnough and Geo. S. Briggs.
