One by one the early settlers are joining the great majority, and this week we are again called upon to chronicle the death of another pioneer—Mr. F. W. Frisbee, who crossed the border line on Sunday, Aug. 28th. Mr. Frisbee was born in Delhi, Delaware Co., New York, Nov. 10, 1825, and was therefore 74 years of age. He was married in 1851 to Miss Adelia F. Every, at Bloomville, N. Y. In 1867 he came to Le Roy and engaged in the drug business, retiring only a couple of years ago. Mr. Frisbee was noted for his integrity in all business matters, and his word was considered as good as his bond. The funeral took place from his late residence Monday afternoon, and was conducted by Eureka Lodge, A. F. & A. M., of which deceased was a member. His wife who survives him, has the heartfelt sympathy of the community in her bereavement.—Le Roy Indedendent.

Transcriber’s Note; Find-A-Grave records show date of death as Aug. 26.
