DUNN.
Nancy H. Bradford was born in Braceville. Ohio, March 15,1815, and departed this life Feb. 15,1900.
She was a direct descendant of Gov. William Bradford of Plymouth colony. She was united in marriage to James Dunn in Braceville in 1832, who still survives her. To them was born eleven children. One of them died in infancy and Mrs. Frances A. Rurnsey, who died Jan. 21,1900. The rest still survive her Van Ransler, William D., Austin B., Eugene A, and Henry H. Dunn, Mrs. Elvira H. Preston, Mrs. Josephine Doolittle, Mrs. Servena D. Hulbert and Mrs. Ellen J. Hubbell.
They moved to De Kalb, Ill., in 1845, and then to Howard county in June, 1850, and have made Howard county their home ever since.
She united with the M. E. churoh when 15 years of age and was a member of the Cresco church at the time of her death. She was firm in her faith in Christ and said almost daily that she was going home to her Savior.
The funeral services were held at Morgan church by Rev. Heald, and she was laid to rest in Oak Lawn cemetery.
