Funeral services for Phyllis Robinson were held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22 at First Lutheran Church with Rev. Gary K. Lee officiating. Interment was in Saratoga Cemetery at Saratoga. Honorary pallbearers were: Dennis Yoder, Ronnie Norman, Rick Wangen, Dean Hron, Dan Mast, and Brian Schrage. Pallbearers were: Wayne Carolan, Buddy Borland, Bud McKee, Duane Gunhus, Jamie Reinhart, and Bob Davies. Lindstrom Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Phyllis, 75, died Sunday, May 19, 2002 at her home after a brief illness.
Phyllis I. Robinson was born February 24, 1927 in Hampton, the daughter of Albert and Carrie Norman. They moved to Riceville in 1941.
On December 23, 1945 she married Leonard Robinson.
She is survived by her husband Leonard; three children: Sharyl Cline of Chester, VA, Greg of California, MO, and Debi Robinson of Newnan, GA; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother: Clifford of Riceville; and five sisters: Lucille Duenow of St. Ansgar, Marlys Falck of Chester, Alberta Friedrich of Elma, Joann Menken of Greene, and Janice Stevenson of Melbourne, FL.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister: Marcella Ficken.
