Services to be held for Anna Rink, 86

Memorial services for Anna Rink of Wabasha, MN, formerly of Cresco, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 2 at the Abbott Funeral Home in Wabasha with Rev. Milo Ernster officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Cresco. Friends may call at the Abbott Funeral Home on Saturday one hour before services.
Anna, 86, died Monday, January 28, 2002 at St. Elizabeth’s Health Care Center in Wabasha.
Anna M. Rink was born August 27, 1915 in Pocahantas, the daughter of John and Agnes (Semerad) Peacock.
On May 25, 1936 she married Victor F. Rink at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Cresco. Anna was a self-employed wallpaper hanger and also did custodial work at the Cresco Union Savings Bank. She moved to Wabasha in 1994 to be near her daughter.
She enjoying crocheting, playing bingo and watching the boat traffic on the Mississippi River.
She is survived by one daughter: LaVerne Rumsey of Wabasha, MN; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband Victor on December 27, 1986; two brothers; and three sisters.
