Services held for Russell Krakliow
Funeral services tor Russell Krakliow of Cresco were held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 2 at Hodgson Funeral Home, Ltd. in Rock Island, IL with Rev. Renee Bridwell officiating. Interment was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Rock Island, IL
Russell, 99, died Sunday, December 29, 2002 at the Howard County Residential Care, Facility, rural Cresco.
Russell Ellis Krakliow was born July 16, 1903 in Coal Valley, IL, the son of Frank and Emma (Ellis) Krakliow.
In August 1955 he married Grace Beuchel and she died in 1974. He married Alice Steiner on July 16, 1923 and she died in 1952.
Russell was formerly a member of Fifteenth Avenue Christian Church in Rock Island. He was a former member of UAW Local 1414, Rock Island. Russell was an inspector for Farmall retiring in 1962 after 33 years of service.
He is survived by one daughter: Barbara Lammers of Chester; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Russell was preceded in death by one grandchild; two stepdaughters: Ruth Douglas and Rita Krikorian; his parents; and one sister: Bernice Krakliow.
