Mrs. F. J. Mead on Thursday morning received the sad intelligence of the death of an uncle, John J. Taylor, of Warren, Pa., who died of heart failure at Cassadaga N. Y., on Aug. 5th at the age of 73. Mr. Taylor was a prominent merchant and lumberman of that place prominent in church and temperance work. He leaves a wife and one daughter, who with the deceased have been the guests of Cresco relatives at different times in the past.
