Died.
OWENS At the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Griff Owens, in Albion twp. on Sunday, June 18th, 1899, Gertie, aged 5 years and 3 days. Little Gertie was born in Oregon twp., June 15th, 1894. She was taken sick nearly three months ago with whooping cough which terminated in bronchial pneumonia.
The interment was in Pleasant Hill cemetery, Lime Springs, the funeral being from the M. E. church, Rev. Linn officiating and excellent and appropriate music was furnished by a male trio.
The PLAIN DEALER extends its sympathy to the bereaved parents and relatives.
