‘Tis a dream! Let me waken;
I cannot believe
That a loved, loving husband
Has left me to greive;{sic}
That the light has gone out
Of those tender, brown eyes;
That his voice cannot reach me
Beneath the blue skies.

’Tis a dream! Let me waken!
Bring back the short years
We have walked here together,
And banish my fears:
Let the hand that has led me
So lovingly on
Be here still to guide me
Till life’s day is gone.

From a dream I shall waken
When this life is past,
My soul will reach after
And find thee at last,
Forgiven by Jesus. Ah yes!
It must be!
For one so forgiving and
Loving as thee.

CARD OF THANKS.
To neighbors and friends we extend heartfelt thanks for their generous and kindly aid in our bereavement.
MRS. D. HUSTED.
