Mrs. Harmon, an old lady about seventy or over, died Feb. 4, at the home of Mr. J. Harmon, in Howard Center, She was found in bed quite unconscious after having been about the yard and house and expired shortly after, as the information comes to us. Probably the result of over-exertion and fatigue.

HARMON—At the residence of her son, Julius Harmon, in Howard Center twp., Feb. 4, 1897, Mrs. Louisa B. Harmon. She was born in West Rupert, Bennington county, Vermont, June 6, 1818, being 79 years, 8 months and 2 days old.
She was married to Horace H. Harmon in 1835, in her native village. He died ten years ago last November at the age of 79 years. She was the mother of twelve children, six sons and six daughters, nine of whom survive her. All but two were present at her funeral, viz: Julius, Eugene, and David of Cresco, also Mrs. P. Fravel, of Cresco; Elan Harmon, of Milwaukee; Mrs. Butler, of Nora, Ill.; and Mrs. Bennet, of Iowa Falls, Ia. She experienced religion in the early part of her married life and united with the Adventists.
The services were conducted at the home where she died and her remains laid beside those of her husband in New Oregon cemetery.
