DIED.
SMITH—At her home in Forest City township, Howard county, Iowa, Sept. 4th, 1896, Mary E., wife of John R. Smith, aged 40 years 1 month and 20 days.
Deceased was born in Albion township this county, July 15, 1856, daughter of Philip and C. Howe. She was a good wife, a noble loving mother, and leaves to mourn their loss three sons, her husband, two brothers and a sister.
