David “Dave” Elmer Linderbaum, 69, of Cresco, Iowa passed away peacefully on Monday April 22, 2013 at Evans Home. Dave was born December 12, 1943 in Cresco to Elmer and Bernice (Hovey) Linderbaum. He graduated from Crestwood High School in 1961. Dave married Kay Davis on August 31, 1963 and to this union three children were born; Lisa, Mark, and Aaron. They later divorced. Dave graduated from Northeast Iowa Community College with a degree in Ag Business Management. Dave owned and operated his own farm for years by Ridgeway and later worked at Hunting Elevator along with area farmers. He loved farming, watching baseball and softball games, playing cards, and visiting with friends and family. When his health declined, he was often seen in Cresco on his scooter attending sporting events. Dave was preceded in death by his mother, father, and former wife. Dave is survived by his children, Lisa (Linderbaum) and James Herd, Mark and Jane (O’Byrne) Linderbaum; and Aaron and Mya (Cutler) Linderbaum, grandsons; Jacob and Adam Herd, Jack and Sam Linderbaum, Beck and Ryder Linderbaum, brother Dennis (Barb) Linderbaum, sister Jeanne (Larry) Kerr; nieces and nephews. Memorials may be directed to cancer research.

Cemetery:
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
