Charlotte Lepa, 86, of Cresco, Iowa, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2012 at the Regional Health Services of Howard County in Cresco, Iowa. Charlotte was born on December 24, 1926 in Cresco, Iowa to Ed and Mae (Shaeffer) Dotzler. She graduated from Cresco High School. Following High School she worked candling, for the Howard County Cleaners, construction traffic control, and the majority was spent working in Food Service for the Howard Winneshiek School District. She entered into marriage with Lawrence Lepa, and to this union 4 sons were born; Wayne, Larry, Rick, and Craig. They later divorced. She enjoyed spending time visiting with friends over a cup of coffee. Charlotte loved to spend her spare time in her flower garden, feeding birds, especially hummingbirds and finches, as well as spending time with her family. She is survived by her four sons, Wayne of Cresco, IA, Larry (Carolyn) of Lincoln, NE, Rick (Judi) of Yukon, OK, and Craig (Robin) of Cresco, IA, 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, one brother, Gene Dotzler, one sister, Edith Lepa, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 9 brothers, 4 sisters, and two infant grandsons, Waylon and Benjamin.

Cemetery:
Burial will be in the Howard Center Cemetery in rural Cresco.
