Linda Koshatka, 59, of Cresco, Iowa, passed away at the Winneshiek County Hospital in Decorah, Iowa, on Saturday, December 3, 2011, after a three year fighting battle of cancer. She was born on March 29, 1952, to Louis and Hermina (Ott) Koudelka in Cresco, Iowa. Linda attended Rudefedum and graduated from South Winn High School in 1970. Linda was a dental assistant in Ossian, Iowa, for Dr. Henry DDS from 1970 to 1971. She married Alvin Koshatka on October 16, 1971, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Together they lived in Cresco, Iowa, and successfully started Al’s Auto Sales and Al’s Tree Moving Service. She enjoyed cooking, baking, camping and spending time with her family and friends. Linda is survived by her husband Alvin Koshatka of Cresco, Iowa; son Randy (Sandra) Koshatka of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, daughter Michelle (Randy Marlow) Foltz of Cresco, Iowa, daughter Christy (Todd) Teslow of Ridgeway, Iowa, daughter Tami Jo (Dusty Moore) Koshatka of Davenport, Iowa; grandchildren Lindsay (Drew), Lacy, Dylan, Savannah, Kacey, Riley, Chelsey, Addison, Dawson, Tyler, Jayden, Morgan, Tristan and Aspen; great grandchildren Lily, Grace and Baby Zahasky; mother Hermina Koudelka; brother Don Koudelka; sister Lori (Neal) Stapelkamp; eight nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Louis Koudelka.

Cemetery:
Burial will take place in the Calvary Cemetery in Cresco, Iowa.
