Tamara Greg Hammond, 76, of Cresco, Iowa, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011, at her home in Cresco, Iowa. Tamara was born on June 17, 1935, in Russia, to Gregory and Alexandra (Johnson) Egorenko. She attended country school in Saratoga. Tamara was united in marriage to Frank Hammond on July 11, 1968. She worked for a factory in Waterloo prior to her marriage to Frank and then was a housewife. Tamara was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cresco. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, fishing and gardening. Tamara is survived by her sister Galina Caldemeyer of Marion, Iowa, brother Alex (Ardyce)Egorenko of Minneapolis, Minnesota, nieces Jody and Teresa, nephew Sam, along with several great nieces and nephews. Tamara was preceded in death by her parents Gregory and Alexandra, husband Frank, brother Val and brother-in-law Sam Caldemeyer.

Cemetery:
Burial will take place in the New Oregon Cemetery in rural Cresco.
