BREEDLOVE—In Cresco Iowa, Saturday, November 23, 1895, Carrie M. Breedlove, daughter of W. C. and Percy A. Breedlove, aged 26 years and 23 days.
Deceased was born at Postville, Iowa, but had lived in this county sixteen years. She began school teaching when sixteen years of age and had been a successful teacher until failing health compelled her to retire from the vocation, having taught twenty terms in this and Winneshiek county. Her funeral occurred Monday from the Methodist church, Rev. Taylor preaching the discourse, after which she was laid to rest in Oak Lawn cemetery. Public sympathy to the family in this sad affliction is universal wherever their amiable and loved one was known, for which the family and friends are grateful.
