In 1878 she was united in marriage with Louis Oberdorf, who preceded her in death about five years ago. To this union five children were born, one dying in infancy, and four daughters. Mesd. Geo. Hull, Julius Knapp, Frank Smith and Chas. Rook, of Chicago, survive; also four grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. George Burnikel, of Chicago, and Mrs. Louis Miller, of Seattle, Wash. She is also survived by two half-sisters and three half-brothers, Mrs. Eugene Frank, of Chicago, Mrs. Joseph Burnikel, of Cresco, Wm. Ohmacht, of Danvers, Minn., H. S. Ohmacht, of Oak Park, Minn., and John Ohmacht, of Schley.
She died Nov. 23, 1914, at the home of a daughter residing at 338 South Homan avenue, Chicago. The funeral took place at the residence with interment in Waldheim cemetery beside her husband.
She was a member of the Schweiser Frauenverein and Cleveland Frauenverein.

A precious one from us has none.
A voice we loved is stilled.
A place is vacant in our home
Which can never be filled.
God in his wisdom has recalled.
The boon his love had given.
And though the body slumbers here.
Her soul is safe In Heaven.
