Edith Meyer, age 92 of Cresco, Iowa died Thursday morning, April 20, 2017 at the Evans home in Cresco.

Edith was born March 18, 1925 in New Oregon Township, Howard County, Iowa to Frank and Victoria (Lundak) Voyna. Edith married Edward Meyer on April 30, 1946 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Chester, Iowa. Edith enjoyed gardening, flowers, quilting, crocheting, birds, her grand kids, great-grandkids and her grand puppies. Edith was also a talented card, bingo and game player.

Edith is survived by two daughters: Barbara (William) Ball of Fredericksburg, Iowa and Marilyn (Patty) Meyer of Rochester, a daughter-in-law, Judy Meyer; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward and two sons: John and Joseph.
