JACOBS--In Cresco, March 20, 1873, Frank Norton, son of C. V. and L. J. Jacobs, aged 1 year and 10 months.

The loss of kindred at any time of life is a sore affliction, but our grief is doubly poignant when compelled to lay away in the grave a sweet and innocent babe.

The little child, and only son, whom the parents a few days ago burried from their sight forever was one of unusual brightness, and their affliction must be deep. To them the sympathy of the community is tendered. They have the consolation in knowing that with the death of their little child was added an angel in Heaven. "Suffer little children to come unto me, and fobid them not, for of such is the kingdom of Heaven," says the Lord.
