ANOTHER PIONEER GONE.--Mrs. Thomas Russell of Afton township on Tuesday morning last, rose to good health as usual and after attending to some chores sat down by the fire to warm. After sitting there a few moments she fell to the floor exclaiming, "My God, how I feel," and in a few moments expired. The deceased was about seventy years of age and one of the first to brave pioneer life in Howard couhty. She was an amiable citizen beloved by all who know her.
