Died.

DEANE:--In Cresco, March 20, 1896, Luella L. wife of W. H. Deane in the 46th year of her age.

When six years of age she came with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Bowers, to Winneshiek county and has resided in this vicinity ever since. She was united in marriage with W. H. Deane, in 1870. Seven children have been born to them five of which and her husband remain to mourn her death. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church, from which her funeral was largely attended Sunday.
