Eva Sue "Susie" Melver passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016 at the Evans Memorial Home in Cresco, IA from complications of Huntington's disease.

Sue was born on October 2, 1962 in Cresco, Iowa, the daughter of George and Frances Melver. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She enjoyed the outdoors, the river, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

She struggled with Huntington's Disease for many years. She resided at Howard County Residential for a few years where she made many friends before moving to the Evans Memorial Home.

She is survived by her daughter Ruby (Shawn) Erickson and their children, Kailyn and Lawson of Cresco, Iowa, her father George Melver of Cresco, Iowa.

She is preceded in death by her mother Frances Melver, brothers George G. Melver, Carl (Mike) Melver, Johnny Melver, and a sister Sharee Melver.
