Cresco- Services for Mrs. Albert Benson, 57, who lived east of Cresco, were held Tuesday in the Orleans Lutheran church southeast of Cresco. The Rev. J. E. Bergen, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the Orleans cemetery near the church.

Mrs. Benson died Saturday in the Cresco hospital after a paralytic stroke Friday evening.

She was born near Albert Lea, Minn., and had lived here since her marriage to Albert Benson 22 years ago. She taught parochial school in connection with the Orleans church before her marriage. She was a past district president of the Iowa Women's Missionary federation of the Lutheran churches.

She is survived by her husband; an adopted son, Frank, at home, and an adopted daughter, Frances, living in New Mexico.
