Mrs. Elaine Blomgren,52, funeral held Tuesday

Funeral services for Mrs. Elaine Blomgren of Decorah were held Monday at the Bradley-Lindstrom Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Wasta officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill cemetery in Lime Springs. She died Feb. 11, at the Winneshiek county memorial hospital at the age of 52.
She was born February 23, 1924 at Lime Springs, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Kapka. She spent the early years of her life in Lime Springs. In November 1945 she was united in marriage to Lyle Blomgren. They spent most of their lives farming in northeast Iowa.
She was preceded in death by an infant son Melvin; her parents; and one sister, Elva.
Survivors include her husband Lyle; a son, James of Cresco; a daughter, Mrs. David (Carol) Foote of Tyler, Texas; a brother, Ronald Kapka of Tyler, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Roy (Dorothy) Grace of Riceville, and Mrs. Iona Duckert of Hammond, Wis.
