Swenson, Gordon Eugene, 88, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Regional Health Hospital in Cresco, IA. He married Alice Smith and worked as a farmer, until they divorced. Then he became a self-employed dump truck driver and lived in Granger, MN until he retired. He is survived by his son Bruce Swenson of Lime Springs, IA and daughter Sheila (Jim) Swenson-Patzner of Riceville, IA., 8 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and his son Ray Swenson of San Jose, CA. No funeral services will be held.
